Through My Letterbox! 10/08/12

What came Through My Letterbox since my last post (on the 6th of August):

Since my last post, myself and my mum received Stitch for review from the author herself, Samantha Durante! We are taking part in the Stitch blog tour, my stop is on the 9th of October and my mum's is on the 27th of August.

Myself and my mum went to Asda, and my mum bought The Blessed by Tonya Hurley, Rebel Heart by Moira Young (which is the second book in the Dust Lands series), Everneath by Brodi Ashton, and Destined by P.C. & Kristin Cast (which is the ninth book in the House Of Night series).

When we came back from Asda, our review copy from St Martin's Press of Wake by Amanda Hocking was waiting for us! It has a lovely feeling cover!

The next day, we received Witch Child by Celia Rees and Exile by Rebecca Lim from Kayleigh at K-Books as part of a swap on Goodreads! Exile is the second book in the Mercy series, I had received Mercy (the first book in the series) as part of an earlier swap via Goodreads, and just couldn't resist swapping for the next book in the series! We swapped for Witch Child by Celia Rees as we have both read This Is Not Forgiveness, which was also by Celia Rees.

Whilst we were shopping at Asda (again!) my mum spotted One Breath Away, which she had received from Netgalley for review, and couldn't resist buying the paperback!

Later that day, we went to our local The Works shop and bought Exodus, Zenith and Aurora by Julie Bertagna . . .

. . . as well as The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials and Death Cure by James Dashner . . .

. . . and Ingo by Helen Dunmore!

Finally, myself and my mum received an ARC of Full Blooded by Amanda Carlson for review from Orbit / Hachette . . .

. . . and an ARC of Whispers At Moonrise for review from St Martin's Press!

What books came into your home this week?

  1. Wow! That's some great looking books there! Your Asda haul is great! I managed to pick up the maze runner triology a couple of weeks ago from the works when we were supposed to be on holiday. I only managed to read one book but bought 11!
